Police are still investigating whether it was a case of suicide, an accident or a case of foul play involved.

However, an unconfirmed report said a  suicide note was recovered from Belmonte.

Responding officials from Barangay Ugong, Pasig City told authorities that witnesses have reported to them about a woman who fell from a building.

When they arrived at the scene, they saw a lifeless female body in a sleeping gown and covered with blood lying on top of an air-con unit at 7th floor of the building.

Prior to the incident, Belmonte was reportedly inside Unit-E, a unit she owned, and having some drinks with her boyfriend and another female friend.

When the victim suddenly disappeared, her companions thought Belmonte was already asleep but was nowhere to be found when they checked the bedroom.

Belmonte’s yet unidentified boyfriend admitted he had a fight with the victim recently but said everything has already been patched up.

A Facebook account under her name, Helena Belmonte, described herself as “a Filipina-American model who acts and hosts on occasion.”

In the welcome page of a WordPress blog “Planes and Palates” she maintained, Belmonte said she was born in America, raised in the Philippines and educated in Germany, Philippines and America.

She also mentioned having traveled to 25 countries and has “a passion for travel, good food, and a desire to share some of life’s simple pleasures.”
