Over 53K travelers flock to seaports late hours on Holy Monday–PCG

      MANILA, Philippines -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) recorded more than 53,000 travelers who flocked to the country's seaports on the late hours of Holy Monday, records disclosed on Tuesday. The tally of the PCG showed that a total of 53,740 passengers turn up in seaports across the country from 6 p.m. of Monday to 12 a.m. of Tuesday. This brought the total of outbound passengers in seaports across the country to 174,063 from 12 a.m. Monday to 12 a.m. Tuesday.
