Magnitude 6.2 quake hits Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental

MANILA, Philippines --- A 6.2 -magnitude earthquake struck Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental on Friday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. The quake's epicenter was at 92 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:12 p.m. Phivolcs said that the quake was of tectonic origin and had a 76-kilometer depth of focus.
