S. Korea files WTO complaint over Japan’s export curb

SEOUL --- The South Korean government on Wednesday filed a complaint over Japan's tighter export curbs with the World Trade Organization, accusing Tokyo of taking discriminatory measures against Korea for politically motivated reasons. During a press briefing in Seoul, the country's Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee said the Japanese government's export controls targeting Korea violate WTO rules by regulating free trade for political purposes.
